eBOS participates in the First Open Annual Workshop on Future ICT organized in Athens, Greece
eBOS maintains its leading role in future-oriented research in a variety of domains engaging alongside reliable partners and industry leaders in the development of new technologies and innovative breakthroughs.
On the 25th of May, 2022 eBOS R&D Senior Project Manager Philippos Philippou, attended the first open annual workshop on future ICT in Athens, Greece and presented the ‘5G Technologies and Cybersecurity in EU H2020 funded projects’ following participation of eBOS in related EU funded projects.
The physical event was organised and hosted by Mr. Dimitrios Nodaros representing Eight Bells Ltd and a total of 36 physical and 8 virtual attendees took part in engaging presentations and discussions.
The presentation was focused on work done in 5G technologies and Cybersecurity in EU funded projects under Horizon 2020 programme and discussed the objectives and scope of the research endeavours, the adopted methodology towards the vision of the projects as well as the discovered benefits and lessons learned. It concluded with an insight to the research results ultimately providing the audience with a view of the added value of the projects’ work in better resource utilization, economic and environmental sustainability and growth and optimized enabling technologies towards a seamless delivery of 5G services and enhanced digital privacy.
