New H2020 ICT-52 5G Project MARSAL kicks off!

On the 21 and 22 of January 2021, a new 5G Research and Innovation project MARSAL: MACHINE LEARNING-BASED, NETWORKING AND COMPUTING INFRASTRUCTURE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT OF 5G AND BEYOND INTELLIGENT NETWORKS held a successful online kick-off meeting with the participation of 14 partners and the coordination of CENTRE TECNOLOGIC DE TELECOMUNICACIONS DE CATALUNYA (CTTC).MARSAL is part of 5G PPP Phase 3b ICT-52 projects and will last for 3 years. It aims to provide an evolved architecture towards beyond 5G (B5G), offering unprecedented degrees of flexibility and closed-loop autonomy at all tiers of the infrastructure, and significantly improved Spectral Efficiency via Cell-Free Networking.Vasilis Machamint and Mr. Philippos Philippou, R&D Project Managers, represented eBOS Technologies at the online kick-off-meeting. During the meeting all the partners introduced their organisations and the discussion was mainly focused on the role of each partner in the project and the work that needs to be performed under each Work Package, especially during the first 6 months of the project. Moreover, the main goal was to establish a common vision for the project.

eBOS will work on AI-based solutions for malicious nodes detection. eBOS will lead the project dissemination following the strategy defined in Work Package 7. eBOS will set up the appropriate mechanisms and tools for maximum visibility and impact, ensuring that all partners contribute to dissemination activities, and assess the dissemination results.This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 101017171.
