The ASTEP project completes its first year of implementation: all partners attend the General Assembly

On the 18th and 19th of May 2021, the Horizon 2020 ASTEP project held its General Assembly via teleconference. The meeting marked the first anniversary of the project and was hosted by the project Coordinator, Dr. Antonio Rovira representing the National University of Distance Education of Madrid, Spain (UNED). Ms. Gianna Avgousti, Project Manager, represented eBOS, one of the 16 consortium partners from 9 European countries.

The primary focus of the discussions was to review the progress and project developments over its 1st year of implementation. The agenda featured presentations from the Project Steering Committee, Scientific & Technical Committee, and the Innovation Committee. Partners also reviewed the status of the project’s Dissemination and Communication activities.

ASTEP is an EU-funded project under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme under Grant Agreement No. 884411 that kicked off in May 2020 and will last for four years. It aims to extend the use of solar thermal energy to industrial processes by implementing innovative, reliable, and advanced technologies to assure a reliable solution needed for continuous operating process.
